Career Summary
Richard Smith is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive run game coordinator/linebackers coach for the Indianapolis Colts since 2023. Prior to this role, he started with the Colts as the team's linebackers coach in 2022.
Career Awards
During the 2006 season as the defensive coordinator of the Houston Texans he coached DeMeco Ryans to the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
