The Denver Broncos' thirty-seventh season was in 1996, and it was the second season Mike Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. The Broncos played their home games at Mile High Stadium. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, but they lost their first playoff game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27. At the end of the season, Terrell Davis was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
