The Denver Broncos' thirty-seventh season was in 1996, and it was the second season Mike Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27. At the end of the season, Terrell Davis was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
