The Denver Broncos' fifty-second season was in 2011, playing their home games at INVESCO Field at Mile High. During the offseason they hired John Fox to lead the team. During his time in the NFL he was head coach for nine years. They finished the year 8-8-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New England Patriots 45-10. At the end of the season, Von Miller was awarded with the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
