The Los Angeles Chargers' fifty-eighth season was in 2017, playing their home games at StubHub Center. During the offseason they hired Anthony Lynn to lead the team. Lynn previously was the interim head coach/assistant head coach/running backs coach/interim offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills and had seventeen years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 9-7-0, 5-3-0 at home and 4-4-0 on the road. At the end of the season, Keenan Allen was awarded with the Comeback Player of the Year award.
