The New England Patriots' fiftieth season was in 2009, and it was the tenth season Bill Belichick served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Baltimore Ravens 33-14. At the end of the season, Tom Brady was awarded with the Comeback Player of the Year award.
