The Denver Broncos' fiftieth season was in 2009, playing their home games at INVESCO Field at Mile High. During the offseason they hired Josh McDaniels to lead the team. McDaniels previously was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach of the New England Patriots and had eight years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 8-8-0, 4-4-0 at home and 4-4-0 on the road.
