The Los Angeles Rams' eighty-second season was in 2017, playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. During the offseason they hired Sean McVay to lead the team. McVay previously was the offensive coordinator of the Washington Redskins and had eight years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, but they lost their first playoff game to the Atlanta Falcons 26-13. At the end of the season Sean McVay earned Coach of the Year; Aaron Donald earned AP Defensive Player of the Year; and Todd Gurley earned AP Offensive Player of the Year.
