During his career, he won the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2014, playing for the St. Louis Rams; the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, playing for the Los Angeles Rams; the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, playing for the Los Angeles Rams; and the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2020, playing for the Los Angeles Rams.
