Career Summary

Ted Rath is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the director of sports science for the New Orleans Saints since 2025. Prior to this season, he coached for the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles for thirteen seasons. His most recent position was with the Eagles as their vice president of player performance. Rath was hired as the new director of sports science of the New Orleans Saints for the 2025 season.
