Biography

Dennis Allen is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) working as the defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. He held this position since 2016. Prior to this role, he started with the Saints as the team's senior defensive assistant coach in 2015. During his career he was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 2012 until the 2014 season. The Raiders went 11-37-0 during their three seasons with Allen as head coach. During the 2011 season as the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos he coached Von Miller to the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
