The Saints played their home games at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC South, but they lost their first playoff game to the Minnesota Vikings 26-20. At the end of the season, Michael Thomas was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
