The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' thirtieth season was in 2005, and it was the fourth season Jon Gruden served as the head coach of the team. The Buccaneers played their home games at Raymond James Stadium. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC South, but they lost their first playoff game to the Washington Redskins 17-10. At the end of the season, Cadillac Williams was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
