They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 31-20. At the end of the season, Nick Bosa was awarded with the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
