The San Francisco 49ers' seventy-fourth season was in 2019, and it was the third season Kyle Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. The 49ers played their home games at Levi's Stadium. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 31-20. At the end of the season, Nick Bosa was awarded with the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
