The St. Louis Rams' sixty-sixth season was in 2001, and it was the first season Mike Martz served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 14-2-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New England Patriots 20-17. At the end of the season, Marshall Faulk was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
