Career Summary
Joe Collier was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1960 to 1992, finishing his career as the defensive coordinator of the New England Patriots. Over his thirty-one years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 234-205-13. He was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills from 1966 until the 1968 season, during which time the Bills went 14-26-2. During his career he was a head coach for three seasons.
Career Awards
During the 1978 season as the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos he coached Randy Gradishar to the AP Defensive Player of the Year.
