The Denver Broncos' twentieth season was in 1979, and it was the third season Red Miller served as the head coach of the team. The Broncos played their home games at Mile High Stadium. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Houston Oilers 13-7.
