Biography

John Mazur was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1962 until 1980, finishing his career with the New York Jets as their defensive coordinator. Over his sixteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 89-131-6. During his career he was the head coach of the Boston Patriots from 1970 until the 1972 season. The Patriots went 11-31-0 during their three seasons with Mazur as head coach.
