Career Summary
Chris Palmer was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1990 to 2016, finishing his career as the senior offensive assistant coach of the Buffalo Bills. Over his twenty-four years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 184-200-0. He was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns from 1999 until the 2000 season, during which time the Browns went 5-27-0. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons. He was fired from the Browns on Thursday, January 11, 2001.
