Biography

Clive Rush was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1968 until 1970, finishing his career with the Boston Patriots as their head coach. Over his three years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 17-25-0. During his career he was the head coach of the Boston Patriots from 1969 until the 1970 season. The Patriots went 6-22-0 during their two seasons with Rush as head coach. During the 1968 season as the offensive coordinator of the New York Jets he coached Joe Namath to the AP AFL Player of the Year.
