Biography
Career Summary
Greg Knapp was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2020, finishing his career as the quarterbacks coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Over his twenty-five years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 211-189-0.
Career Awards
During the 2001 season as the offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers he coached Garrison Hearst to the Comeback Player of the Year.

Personal Information
Knapp was born on Tuesday, March 5, 1963 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He died on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the age of 58. Knapp died from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car while biking, just days before the start of his first season with the New York Jets in 2021. He was 58.
