The Oakland Raiders' fifty-second season was in 2011, playing their home games at O.co Coliseum. During the offseason they promoted Hue Jackson to lead the team. Jackson previously was the offensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders and had thirteen years of coaching experience in the NFL. He was fired from the Raiders on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. They finished the season 8-8-0, 3-5-0 at home and 5-3-0 on the road.
