The Chiefs played their home games at Arrowhead Stadium. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Buffalo Bills 30-13. At the end of the season Marcus Allen earned Comeback Player of the Year and Derrick Thomas earned Man of the Year.
