The Pittsburgh Steelers' sixtieth season was in 1993, and it was the second season Bill Cowher served as the head coach of the team. The Steelers played their home games at Three Rivers Stadium. They finished the year 9-7-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24. At the end of the season, Rod Woodson was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
