The Chicago Bears' seventy-fourth season was in 1993, playing their home games at Soldier Field. During the offseason they hired Dave Wannstedt to lead the team. Wannstedt previously was the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach of the Dallas Cowboys and had four years of coaching experience in the NFL.
