The New England Patriots' fifty-first season was in 2010, and it was the tenth season Bill Belichick served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 14-2-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the New York Jets 28-21. At the end of the season Bill Belichick earned Coach of the Year and Tom Brady earned AP Offensive Player of the Year.
