2010 was the seventy-seventh season for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the third season for Mike Tomlin as the head coach of the Steelers. They finished the season 12-4-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs eventually losing to the Green Bay Packers 31-25. At the end of the season Troy Polamalu was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
