The New York Giants' ninety-second season was in 2016, playing their home games at MetLife Stadium. During the offseason they promoted Ben McAdoo to lead the team. McAdoo previously was the offensive coordinator of the New York Giants and had twelve years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Green Bay Packers 38-13. At the end of the season, Eli Manning was awarded with the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
