Biography

David Merritt, Sr. is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) working as the secondary coach-safeties for the New York Giants. He held this position since 2006. Before moving into this role on the Giants he held three other positions with the team. His previous position was as the team's defensive assistant coach for one season. He began his stint with the Giants in 2004 as the defensive assistant coach/quality control coach.
