1993 was the sixty-ninth season for the New York Giants. During the offseason they hired Dan Reeves to lead the team. During his time in the NFL he was head coach for twelve years. They finished the season 11-5-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs eventually losing to the San Francisco 49ers 44-3. At the conclusion of the season Dan Reeves was awarded with the Coach of the Year.
