The Green Bay Packers' forty-eighth season was in 1968, playing their home games at Lambeau Field. During the offseason they hired Phil Bengtson to lead the team. Bengtson previously was the defensive line coach of the Green Bay Packers and had seventeen years of coaching experience in the NFL.
