1968 was the twentieth season for the Baltimore Colts and the fifth season for Don Shula as the head coach of the Colts. They finished the season 13-1-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs eventually losing to the New York Jets 16-7. At the end of the season Don Shula was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
