The Baltimore Ravens' thirteenth season was in 2008. During the offseason they hired John Harbaugh to lead the team. Harbaugh previously was the special teams coordinator/defensive backs coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and had ten years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-14.
