The New York Giants' eighty-seventh season was in 2011, and it was the eighth season Tom Coughlin served as the head coach of the team. The Giants played their home games at MetLife Stadium. They finished the year 9-7-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC East, and 4-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the New England Patriots 21-17, the team's eighth championship win. At the end of the season, Eli Manning was awarded with the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award.
