Biography

Les Steckel was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1978 until 2003, finishing his career with the Buffalo Bills as their running backs coach. Over his twenty years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 156-156-0. He was also the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings for the 1984 season. The Vikings went 3-13-0 in this lone season as a head coach. During his career he was a head coach for one seasons.
