The Houston Oilers' thirty-sixth season was in 1995, playing their home games at Reliant Astrodome. During the offseason they promoted Jeff Fisher to lead the team. Fisher previously was the interim head coach/defensive coordinator of the Houston Oilers and had ten years of coaching experience in the NFL.
