Biography

Jim Haslett is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the inside linebackers coach for the Tennessee Titans since 2019. Prior to this season, he coached for the Los Angeles Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins, and Cincinnati Bengals for twenty-four seasons. His most recent position was with the Bengals as their linebackers coach. He was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints from 2000 until the 2005 season, during which time the Saints went 45-51-0. During his career he was a head coach for six seasons.

Haslett won the NFL's Coach of the Year award in 2000 after guiding the Saints to a 10-6-0 record and a berth in the playoffs. During the 2000 season as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints he coached Joe Johnson to the Comeback Player of the Year.
