The St. Louis Rams' seventy-first season was in 2006, playing their home games at Edward Jones Dome. During the offseason they hired Scott Linehan to lead the team. Linehan previously was the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins and had four years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 8-8-0, 4-4-0 at home and 4-4-0 on the road.
