Biography

Tim Lewis was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2015, finishing his career as the defensive backs coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Over his twenty-one years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 183-152-1.

During the 2001 season as the defensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers he coached Kendrell Bell to the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
