The Minnesota Vikings' thirteenth season was in 1973, and it was the seventh season Bud Grant served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Miami Dolphins 24-7. At the end of the season, Chuck Foreman was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
