The Minnesota Vikings' thirteenth season was in 1973, and it was the seventh season Bud Grant served as the head coach of the team. The Vikings played their home games at Metropolitan Stadium. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC Central, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Miami Dolphins 24-7. At the end of the season, Chuck Foreman was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
