The Dallas Cowboys' seventh season was in 1966, and it was the seventh season Tom Landry served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 10-3-1 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Green Bay Packers 34-27. At the end of the season, Tom Landry was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
