The Dallas Cowboys' seventh season was in 1966, and it was the seventh season Tom Landry served as the head coach of the team. The Cowboys played their home games at Cotton Bowl. They finished the year 10-3-1 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Green Bay Packers 34-27. At the end of the season, Tom Landry was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
