Biography

Steve Sidwell was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1982 until 2002, finishing his career with the Seattle Seahawks as their defensive coordinator. Over his twenty-two years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 178-166-0.

During the 1991 season as the defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints he coached Pat Swilling to the AP Defensive Player of the Year.
