The New York Jets' thirty-sixth season was in 1995, playing their home games at Giants Stadium. During the offseason they hired Rich Kotite to lead the team. During his time in the NFL he was head coach for four years. They finished the season 3-13-0, 2-6-0 at home and 1-7-0 on the road. At the end of the season Boomer Esiason earned Man of the Year and Hugh Douglas earned AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
