The Miami Dolphins' fifty-seventh season was in 2022, playing their home games at Hard Rock Stadium. During the offseason they hired Mike McDaniel to lead the team. McDaniel previously was the offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers and had fifteen years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 9-8-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Buffalo Bills 34-31.
