The San Francisco 49ers' seventy-seventh season was in 2022, and it was the sixth season Kyle Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. The 49ers played their home games at Levi's Stadium. They finished the year 13-4-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 31-7. At the end of the season, Nick Bosa was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
