Career Summary

Steve Ferentz is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive assistant coach for the Las Vegas Raiders since 2026. Prior to this season, he coached for the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants for four seasons. His most recent position was with the Giants as their defensive assistant coach. Ferentz will be the defensive assistant coach of the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2026 season.

Personal Information

Steve is the son of long-time Iowa Hawkeyes head coach, Kirk Ferentz. His brother, Brian, has also coached in the NFL before joining their father in Iowa.
