The Chicago Bears' ninety-ninth season was in 2018, playing their home games at Soldier Field. During the offseason they hired Matt Nagy to lead the team. Nagy previously was the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs and had ten years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC North, but they lost their first playoff game to the Philadelphia Eagles 16-15. At the end of the season, Matt Nagy was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
