The New England Patriots' fifty-ninth season was in 2018, and it was the nineteenth season Bill Belichick served as the head coach of the team. The Patriots played their home games at Gillette Stadium. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Los Angeles Rams 13-3, the team's sixth championship win. At the end of the season, Julian Edelman was awarded with the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award.
