The Los Angeles Rams' fifty-third season was in 1988, and it was the sixth season John Robinson served as the head coach of the team. The Rams played their home games at Anaheim Stadium. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Minnesota Vikings 28-17. At the end of the season, Greg Bell was awarded with the Comeback Player of the Year award.
