Biography

Fritz Shurmur was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1975 to 1999, finishing his career as the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. Over his twenty-five years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 206-180-0.

During the 1998 season as the defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers he coached Reggie White to the AP Defensive Player of the Year.
