The Green Bay Packers' seventy-seventh season was in 1997, and it was the sixth season Mike Holmgren served as the head coach of the team. The Packers played their home games at Lambeau Field. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC Central, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Denver Broncos 31-24. At the end of the season, Robert Brooks was awarded with the Comeback Player of the Year award.
